The 28th French Ion Channel Meeting will be held in Sète, near Montpellier (South of France), from 10th to 13th September 2017. For the first time, it will be organized jointly with the SFICT workshop (Structure and Function of Ion Channels and Transporters), which gathers Portuguese, Spanish and Italian researchers from the ion channel field every two years. We are thus expecting an ever increasing international participation, which will fuel the informal exchanges occurring during this meeting organized on the model of Gordon Research Conferences.
The program is described on the enclosed poster, and includes five symposia, a plenary lecture given by Professor Katsuhiko Mikoshiba, two sessions of oral communications selected from the participants’ abstracts, and two sessions of poster presentations. We particularly encourage the participation of students and young postdocs; their registration fees are kept at a minimum to facilitate their attendance.
