There are two grant initiatives for young researchers to attend the 8th International Iberian Biophysics Congress (https://www.iibc2022bilbao.com/).

EBSA offers a limited number of bursaries of 40€ to individual young scientists to participate in the 7th International Iberian Biophysics Congress. Application Deadline: 31 March 2021 

The Portuguese Biophysical Society (SPBf) will fund a limited number of bursaries (40€ each) for young researchers to attend the 7th International Iberian Biophysics Congress.

Requirements
The applicant must:
* Be a Pre-Doctoral Student at the time of application or a Post-Doctoral Researcher who has
completed the PhD less than three years ago.
* Be a member of SPBf  (even if registration is made at the time of the application).
* Submit an abstract for the Congress as first author.
* Prove attendance of the meeting by sending a copy of the participation certificate to portuguese.biophysical.society@gmail.com no later than 2 weeks after the congress.

3. Proof of SPBf membership with dues paid.
4. Abstract to be submitted to the Congress as first author

Application Deadline: Extended to April 20, 2021

The Portuguese Biophysical Society (SPBf) will fund a few bursaries (450 € each) for
young researchers to attend the joint 12th EBSA and 10th ICBP-IUPAB Biophysics Congress.

Requirements
The applicant must:
* Be a Pre-Doctoral Student at the time of application or a Post-Doctoral Researcher who has
completed the PhD less than three years ago.
* Be a Member of SPBf.
* Submit an abstract for the Congress as first author.
* Prove attendance of the meeting.

4. Abstract submitted to the Congress, as first author

Application Deadline: April 19th, 2019

Applications should be sent by e-mail to the SPBf Secretary: Armindo Salvador (portuguese.biophysical.society@gmail.com)

The award decision announcement is expected to be no later than the 24th of April, 2019, giving
time for applicants to register for the Congress before the early bird deadline (29 th of April, 2019).

The Portuguese Biophysical Society (SPBf) will fund a limited number of bursaries (300 € each) for
young researchers to attend the 6th International Iberian Biophysics Congress.

Requirements
The applicant must:
* Be a Pre-Doctoral Student at the time of application or a Post-Doctoral Researcher who has
completed the PhD less than three years ago.
* Be a Member of SPBf.
* Submit an abstract for the Congress as first author.
* Prove attendance of the meeting.

time for applicants to register for the Congress before the early bird deadline (19 th of March, 2018).
